The Halo 16C Bi-Color Tunable RGB 16″ LED Ring Light from NanLite is part of a series of LED ring lights that are well-suited for beauty lighting, vlogging, selfies, hair dressing, makeup application, and portrait photography, and more. However you use it, the 16″ ring light offers your images the signature attractive, soft, near-shadowless light quality with interesting ring-shaped catchlights, which is the hallmark of this fixture’s shape. The effect is especially pronounced when shooting through its open center with your smartphone (via the included adapter) or DSLR.

The light is dimmable from 0 to 100% to save you the trouble of jockeying it back and forth to achieve the correct light intensity. Color is variable too, from 2700 to 6500K or anywhere in between to match other fixtures, ambient light conditions, or just for creative expression. The Halo 16C has a high CRI of 95 and a TLCI of 93, indicating high accuracy in color rendition. An advanced feature of the ring light is RGB color control, which allows you to create custom hues from a 360-degree color wheel. The Halo 16C has a 5/8″ receiver for stand mounting and comes with a smartphone bracket and an AC adapter. The light’s Power Passthrough feature allows you to use the built-in USB port to keep smartphones and other devices charged while shooting.

NanLite 36° Lens for Bowens mount Projection Attachment

De Nanlite FS-150B en FS-200B zijn twee nieuwe bi-color LED-spots met een CCT-output tussen 2700 en 6500K, een Bowens-mount en paraplu-mount, ingebouwde voeding- en besturingsmodule, 12 effecten en een hoge CRI- en TLCI-classificatie. Deze lampen zijn begin 2023 verkrijgbaar via ons dealernetwerk.

Na eerder al enkele daglicht LED-spots in de FS-serie op de markt te hebben gebracht, richt Nanlite zich dit jaar op bi-color spots in de FS-serie. De FS-300B werd afgelopen juni aangekondigd, gevolgd door de compacte en lichtgewicht FS-60B in september. Bij uitbreiding van de FS-lijn voegt Nanlite nu twee nieuwe COB-spots met Bowens-mount toe: de FS-150B en FS-200B. Beide zijn tweekleurig en het voornaamste verschil is de maximale output.
De Nanlite FS-150B heeft een nominaal vermogen van 175 W en weegt 2,3 kg zonder de reflector. De sterkere FS-200B heeft een vermogen van 220 W en weegt 2,6 kg. De meegeleverde reflector voegt 0,2 kg toe aan het gewicht. Compact en goed draagbaar dus. Als het om de output gaat, bereikt de FS-150B een maximum van 26300 lux, terwijl de FS-200B tot 29490 lux kan bereiken, gemeten op 1 m afstand, met reflector, bij 5600K. De tabellen met alle uitgangsmetingen incl. verschillende lichtvormers en gemeten op drie verschillende afstanden – 1m, 3m en 5m – staan op de productpagina’s van deze spots.

Beide lampen presteren zeer goed als het gaat om de kleurweergave. Ze hebben een CRI-gemiddelde van 96 en een TLCI-gemiddelde van 97 over het hele CCT-bereik van 2700 tot 6500K. Als het gaat om lichttemperatuuraanpassingen in de CCT-modus, hebben de lampen twee werkingsmodi:

Maximale output: Het licht zal altijd een maximale output bieden (afhankelijk van de dimmer) bij elke geselecteerde temperatuur. Dat betekent dat de middelste temperatuurwaarde helderder zal zijn dan beide uiteinden, aangezien de hele chip verlicht is.

Constante output: De output blijft constant, zelfs bij verandering van de lichttemperatuur in de CCT-modus.

Deze Nanlite FS-spots bieden ook een serie speciale effecten die gebruik maken van de tweekleurige output. Er zijn 12 verschillende effecten: CCT-lus, INT-lus, flits, puls, storm, tv, paparazzi, kaars/vuur, kapotte lamp, vuurwerk, explosie en laseffecten. Elk effect kan ook nog worden aangepast.
Zowel de voedings- als de besturingsmodule zijn ingebouwd in de lampbehuizing en toch zijn deze spots supercompact. De bedieningsinterface aan de achterkant bestaat uit twee knoppen, een modusknop, een aan/uit-schakelaar en een statusweergave. Naast deze bediening ondersteunen de lampen ook 2,4 GHz wifi en dubbele Bluetooth-verbinding voor draadloze bediening via afstandsbediening (WS-RC-C2) en de NANLINK-app, ook in groepen. Aan de achterkant van de lamp bevindt zich een USB type-A-poort voor toekomstige firmware-updates.

Beide lampen worden gekoeld door een geluidsarme ventilator. Voor geluidsgevoelige sets bieden de lampen ook een volledig stille ventilatorloze modus, maar wanneer geactiveerd wordt de maximale output gereduceerd. Als het op accessoires aankomt, worden zowel de FS-150B als de FS-200B geleverd met Bowens-mount en een paraplubevestiging. Het licht kan op verschillende manieren worden gevormd met behulp van verschillende modifiers.

The NanLite Forza 60 offers dazzling brightness in a tiny package. The single 60W COB LED bulb produces up to 11950 Lux using the included reflector, and has an accurate daylight fixed colour temperature of 5600K (TLCI 95, CRI 98). The light beam can by intensified to 23680 Lux using the optional Fresnel lens attachment (not included). This light weighs just 0.8kg and measures 194mm on its longest side, with a body constructed of durable carbon fibre.

The Forza 60 produces soft light that is flattering for studio shoots, and bright enough for both photography and video. For film-makers, this light also features a number of special effects, including lightning storm, camera flash, TV and faulty bulb. The ultra-quiet fan makes this light ideal for even the most sound-sensitive situations.

Use in the studio with the included power adapter, or out on location using one of the optional portable power solutions. Continuous dimming from 0-100% makes it easy to add this light to any scene without needing ND filters or additional diffusion – control the brightness using the built-in dimmer on the back of the unit, or using the 2.4G radio controller (available separately) or smartphone app (Wi-Fi control box required).

This ultra-portable light comes in a high quality protective carry bag, and features a 330-degree rotating handle, making it easy to adjust to the correct angle, or hang from a ceiling for studio use. It can also be mounted on any standard light stand.
